I finally replaced my photo printer today--the other one was just not fixable, and was out of warranty. The new one prints beautifully, but wasn't my #1 choice. I would have loved to have gotten a wide-format printer and been able to print on 12 x 12 scrapbook pages--but nobody had one available. So I settled--but I'm still going to keep my eyes open for the wide one!
Here's a Christmas card that I did up a few weeks ago for our card club. A little labor intensive with all the coloring, but otherwise VERY easy!
Do you make your Christmas cards? Have you started them yet? It's less than 3 months till Christmas!!!!! I have 25 of my cards made, of various designs--and I'll be finished when I have about 50-60 done. A few at a time, and I'll get there!
Have a wonderful weekend!

Friendship card
I finally got a chance to get this card photographed--even though I've had it finished since the weekend. Not my normal color choices, but it came out great with this photo-like stamp! I have several girlfriends that I don't get to see often--although we talk on e-mail quite a lot and do a card swap monthly. This card will go out to them.
Back to shopping for a new photo printer--mine died and will only print B&W. So many choices, though! I'm so glad I can check them out online and narrow down my list!

Portfolio added--take a peek!
I added a link to my Portfolio over on the right--just to give you a little look at some of the embroidery I've done and remembered to photograph. Believe me, this is just a TINY sampling of all the designs I've stitched. I'll be adding more pictures as I get more photos taken.
LOVELY fall weather in NW Ohio! The leaves haven't changed much yet, but the weather has cooled off, and it's just wonderful weather to be outside! I think the dogs and I might spend the afternoon out on the deck with my knitting . . .

Over the weekend, the new website launched! There are still a few things to add, but you can click on the link over on the right, and then let me know what you think! What do we need to add? What would you like to see more of?
Thanks, Jeff!

New website coming!
I'm working with a friend on designing a new website for the business--hopefully to go live soon! It's very exciting, especially since this person knows how to do these things, and I have only enough knowledge of it to get into trouble! So, soon, there will be a new http://www.debzdzigns.com/ for you to visit. Let me know what you think!
It really is amazing, at least to me, how much more complex the internet is now. I started with a little Atari computer, and the 5" floppy disks. Black and white screen, and a dot matrix printer. That was prior to 1991--because that year I got an IBM PS2, and thought I was way ahead of the curve! Approximately 5 computers later, my current HP has an enormous storage capacity and runs at light-speed! And the days of using Compuserve and waiting/waiting/waiting for a reply are long gone--and replaced by e-mails and IMs that are instantaneous. I guess it's a lot like when our grandparents thought back to the days of horse and buggy and then looked at their new car. Progress.
I have some cards to finish up today--and I'll post a picture once they are done.
Have a wonderful Thursday!

Jumping in with both feet
My first post. On my first blog. It's a little intimidating.
I'll be posting about lots of things on here--but mainly my embroidery business and what's new, and my other crafting adventures. Soon, I should have a link from my website to here--but that's awaiting the re-design of the website, so watch for coming changes there!
Right now, I'm starting to think ahead to basketball season and what designs to use. SO MANY TO CHOOSE FROM! But, the season will start in 2 months and I have to be ready for it--so back to the design catalogs!
